Forgot to add a comment. How much Dimebag stuff do Dean want to make? Do they thing that the Razorback will become the Dean's Les Paul equivilent?

Yeah they make waaayyy too many dime models, but I'll bet they sell alot of em and it is a buisness. Not my kinda guitar at all but those solteros on the other hand are the tits, I'd love to have one.

I like some of the finishes on those Razorback's and Razorback V's, but the headstocks are hideous...and those guitars are all like $4000.

Oh Lord, how many pointy Dimebag guitars are they gonna make? :p

The Solteros look neat tho.

Some of those Razorback models were fucking awesome. I saw a few that Trivium have been using all of 2006, so I guess they were testing them out. Sweet guitars. Expensive, but nice.

I love the Razorback V's, but the price is nuts imo.

I'm really not down with the huge headstock. I seem to remember Dean back in the day with pointy headstocks on their V's.

FWIW I like the new setneck lineup from Reverend better.

I think just about every single Dean I've ever seen looks lame, IMO. Some are OK, but they are one guitar company that buying a guitar from has never entered my mind.

Cool info, tho.

I like the Splittail, Michael Angelo Batio, and Rusty Cooley guitars.

Cheap Razorback in DimeSlime!!! :) fucking sweet. Seems to me that Dean finally is making some cheaper Razorback and Razorback V models. Last years prices were fucking ludacris all across the board, ESP's mostly. IMO, Dean doesn't make enough Z (Explorer) shapes. I'd be exploiting the hell out of them, but I guess the Dimebag stuff just makes more money. Oh well..I'll be getting myself a Black Gold Z or a DimeSlime Razorback sometime in the near future.

Dean FTW!!

is it just me, or does Dean only put Licensed Floyds on ALL their models, and no OFRs to be seen? what the hell? i think for the price of some of their guitars they would have OFRs. i have nothing against licensed units, my Jackson JT580s are fine, but i didnt pay a grand or more for them, together (bargain shopper!) and id be damned if i buy a guitar for a grand or more and it NOT have an OFR if it came with a Floyd. or at least a Schaller!

I'd have to say the Rusty Cooley model looks the best to me! But I don't want a 7 string. :x

The expensive models like the USA Razorbacks and ML's have OFR trems but all the import models come with licenced trems. Im planning on buying the Dean From Hell ML and im gonna buy an OFR to put on it. Luckily i can get an OFR fairly cheap so its not too bad..

Oh me, this company's ability to butcher Gibson designs is unparalleled. Those are some of the most frightening looking guitars I have ever seen. :o

I want that pole bass thing, though. That looks hilarious. I'd get nucking futs with it.

I dig those Soltero's. Eddie Carlino's got a few in right now, and they look great! He's got a Trans Blue model that has a great looking top.
