BeerGoblin just gave me a heads up on this, but unfortunately (or fortunately) I'll be Detroit Rock City that Saturday night seeing Heaven & Hell at Cobo Hall (site of my first ever concert, VH in 1982). Doubt I'll be able to make it back into town in time, nor will I have the energy to participate. Plus I'm sure I'll have some Mother's Day shit to do.

Have fun, guys! Last one was a blast!

Blasphemy!
Sure you can't make it on Sunday? :gethim: :gethim: :gethim:

:D

Oh, welcome to the forum

Hopefully not. My fam usually does something but I don't see why I couldn't get around it.

Hopefully my old man doesn't have anything large in mind so I don't feel like an ass skipping out on my mom!

Alright, good. If it's a problem for anyone, feel free to PM me ASAP. I'm going to call Superior on Tuesday.

If it doesn't look like we have a lot of people, I'm pretty sure one room is all we'll need. Unless someone is bringing a fleet of amps, of course :D

As much as I'd like to do this, if we only have a small handfull of people maybe we should wait a bit instead of renting out a whole studio.

I have a basement that would accomodate a couple of people no problem and it costs absolutely nothing if you guys still want to do something that weekend:D

So.....I suggest we hold off on actually coughing up cash for a studio unless we have a guaranteed number of people. Last time we had no shows as well so we need to keep that in mind.

I agree with the above, because of some bad news I've got to share.

I've managed to hurt my wrist pretty bad. It's either a chip/hairline fracture, soft-tissue damage, or full blown Carple Tunnel Syndrome. Hurts like a bitch, and the doc didn't give me anything to help, so I'm pretty much shit out of luck.

We had a lot of people on board just a week ago, I don't know where they are now.

That's what happened with the last Amp Fest; we had a TON of people on board on HC, the thread was stickied and like fifty pages long, etc etc etc. Only ended up having around twelve folks. Still, it was a blast and there were lots of cool amps.

I'm more than up for Beergoblin's basement jammin, of course :D

I hope your wrist gets better soon Casey, there's nothing more shitty for a guitarist than wrist injuries :(

My house is always open all summer long as long as I'm not workin, so unless we have a large group of verified people we can always just jam at my place no problem.
