he finally had me follow him to a shop and i was on my way the next morning

Yeah he was fishing. If you would have done anything then he would get help and then beat the shit out of you, take you to jail and then they would beat the shit out of you. Take all your money and whatever belongings. Fine the shit out of you and make you pay impound fees. Until they get their ass slammed in federal court and lose their qualified immunity.

similar thing happened to me in West Virginia on my Harley shovelhead low rider in the late '80s. State trooper pulled us over, he didn't like my drag pipes or my helmet because it wasn't DoT approved (it was a Vietnam era US military surplus with the green camo cover and netting), and he basically told us to leave WV and not let him see us again, that day, or ever again.

Cops in Buena Park told me I needed to get my ass " Back east" after I got into it with some ESBP "Bangers" and got caught red handed with a busted Corona bottle. About 14 months and 7 warrants later I took their advice and scooted my ass back to St. Louis. Not really because of them or the warrants though. One of my best friends back in STL died, my rock star dreams weren't getting me anywhere except drunk at parties in Long Beach and I kinda got sick of it never raining.

It's very important to know which states require the stars and bars be displayed somewhere on your vehicle...it makes life easier.
