New Big Ass Cab Day - Update

Love my 1x12 OS Canyon’s so much that I popped for the 2x12. Thing is a monster. Can’t test it until tomorrow.

Update- just fired it up and I love it. Sounds huge and really articulate and punchy. Don’t know about the weak low end comments. It has plenty Actually had to turn the Depth down compared to my 1960ax. Like it much more than the EVH 2x12, Orange 2x12, and Bogner Helios OS 2x12 I had. The only cab that is close is the Friedman 2x12 my buddy has.

The cab came from Mojo loaded with a Vintage 30 and their BV H30 clone. The only problem I have is their BV-H30. The speaker sounds great when isolated, but it’s too quiet when mixed with the Celestion. I would probably love the BV-H30 in pairs or maybe with one of their V30 or Greenback clones……but I wanted to keep the Celestion Vi30 in the mix. I’m going to try and hunt down the now discontinued Heritage 75hz G12H30.

But not to hijack the op’s original thread I’ve been considering ordering a mojotone canyon for 2 x 12. To use with UK greenbacks. Will be interested in the op’s thoughts on his when he takes possession of it.

I have also, but I have read in a few places the 412 cabs dont really have much bass despite being oversized cabs. I would like to see more opinions on them.
