Thanks yeah and it seems there are no rules for banning folks thanks to Auld and the precedent he left destroying what Peterson had created.
I thought Peterson was nuts too, so to hear you saying it's worse now it seems like it's a psych ward for boomer cowboy chordists and one-box pentatonic masters.

I mean you have to understand Peterson kind of had to be in the middle, secular almost and well not really on anyones side just there but with understanding and discretion. He wasn't really about any side and he was just chill and a regular dude. It was thankless work but he did it and made a solid forum.

Auld on the other hand was pretty much Kim Jung Un and made The Gear Page into Woke North Korea. You can see this in the Stock Market thread for example and others where yeah the Woke get to talk about politics and everyone else who thinks anything outside of Woke BS is banned or just has to stand by and listen and take it even though most on the forum are chill..... the forums been taken hostage by the Woke.

Talked to Peterson on many occasions too and he was a cool guy who actually communicated with members, cared about the forum, cared about being fair and seeing both peoples sides and a very sensible person who talked to you too.

With Auld you got non of that and yeah Peterson was George Washington/Lincoln who created something great and Auld was King Jung Un/Putin who bastardized and pretty much raped the forum.

That's probably the best way I could put it but that is my opinion.

Also I once brought up the phrase "Cowboy Chords".........

And no one at TGP knew what I was talking about or what that meant and I got a warning for it or something @VonBonfire :dunno::LOL:

I think there are people there that know what cowboy chords are dude. That's where they tell the Custom Shops to put their fake board fingerwear on their $6800 strat.

I was getting the hard left woke vibe back at harmony central. Even some of the bitch ass dudes on TDPRI would get under my skin with the "must be leftist like us" crap. Then there are the dudes who get mad when you call Pete Townsend a pedophile because he basically is and the guys who get mad when you say Jimmy Page isn't a blues guitarist. Those guys have no ability to control their little temper tantrums when someone disagrees they go right to "report post"

One time I was pissing dudes off on strat-talk with anti moon landing talk and their heads just about exploded when Lonn sort of agreed with me in a roundabout way.

Honestly never was a big relic guy and still am not but yeah when I picked up a RoadWorn it made me appreciate them for the "broken" in feel due mainly to the Satin finishes.

And when I saw a couple JourneyMan Strats and Teles at GC Hollywood too those things are on another level but yeah amongst the regular stuff one of the nicest Roadworns or relics most could afford is the Brad Paisley Sig Tele...... not even a big Tele guy but that guitar makes me want to be a Tele guy.

I mean you honestly get a lot of that "relic" feel with a satin finish...... most don't really realize that and are more enamored by the aesthetical appearances thinking that's what plays a major role on the feel part but it's mainly the finish all looks aside.

Either way those Journeymans were sure sick and not a relic guy but probably would be for some of those.

But yeah
