Epiphone Widow Custom Les Pauls........

Didn't want to wait, ended up trading in an amp and picked up an orange one. Great guitar for the money. The newer Epiphones have been pretty good. Not sure if I like the new Probuckers or not yet, will have to play around with them.

I hear the used Studio arguments. I already have an '89 Studio so this one was purely for asthetic purposes. Wanted an orange/black Halloween LP for a while, and will probably black-out most of the hardware. As much as I'd like to get one of the Gibson versions, this will work.

@NowYou'rePlayingWithPower didnt you used to have one of the Goth LP Studios? How has that finish aged over time?

Have had multiples of all of them. Am down to one V, 2 Explorers, and an SG. They bleed red when they get scratched. Assuming maybe they were painted over the traditional Gibson cherry finish? One of my explorers is scratched up pretty bad because I sent it to myself on vacation a few years ago messed with some stuff, didn't put one of the pickguard screws all the way back in and it just flung around the case during shipping. Edit: The one thing I've noticed on them all is the clear where it meets the fingerboard bubbles up over time and looks like you would think. Will get some pics later.

I'm super jealous 😅

Def have to say that they are my probably my favorite guitars and agree with y'all's statements on the simple, but elegant designs. The later models just didn't have the same thing going on with either the richlite or no inlays, no Orville's haunted house portrait on the back.

You can have pick of the litter when they finally decide to stop being lesbians.

If they ever decide their college lipstick lesbian phase is over, and they're ready to settle down, i'll take whichever one you don't want :ROFLMAO:

I've got an Epi Les Paul Traditional Pro IV. They are GC/MF exclusives. Build quality is excellent.

Mine had one of the best necks ever…. Super fast… I have spoken to other people who said that their version had a chunky neck… plus the pups ripped in it as well. I have regretted getting rid of that almost as much as my old lp deluxe and 60’s 355 custom stereo….

I kick myself for not getting the Les Paul version, but I'd be happy to own any of the 4 models that were in that series.

They also made a 135, 335, and a few Thunderbirds in that style (not the epiphones or Nikki Sixx version, but with the moon and crescent. Super rare, would guess less than 50). But the rarest of them all was...

All of my SG Goths have/had the 50s neck. Like 1850s :ROFLMAO:
