Our old band was hired to bring our P.A. for raffle announcements and play as long as we wanted at a small town harvest festival. We played our super loud heavy metal originals throughout the day and annoyed everyone except four cool people.
A really good country band showed up towards the end...
In the IK Product Manager where it has a strip for each of your softwares, in the Tonex one there is a button that says tones or sounds or something like that on the left side of that strip. It pops out a sub directory.
Sucks you guys are having difficulties. I swear it runs pretty excellent...
Nice Tele and thanks for the Feiten offset chart.
I've gotten to a really good place with the Tonex plugin. For me it took some work and other plugins and pedals but there is gold in there, you just have to dig for it. I dig the VH pack but found that I liked the captures that I did of my amp...
The more expensive cables usually have lower capacitance. Less high end loss. It is most important for the first cable in the chain. Some high end cables can be a little too bright with some amps or guitars. I think a lot of players are used to and like the slight high end roll off. But...
It's not single ended. Half of the sine wave is cut off. SE amplifies both sides of the sine wave.
A friend of mine ran a 50 watter with one tube for years. I always thought he was bullshiiting me.
I have a Champ and a Bassman with Marshall preamps and extra output transformers and am working...
In '88 or '89 we had Sunset Strip gig lined up. The other guitarist and bass player decide to bleach their hair with super concentrated peroxide. It was bad. Luckily, we were otherwise normally dressed. The singer who was borrowed from another band shows up with a blonde wig. His second time...
Two friends of mine got decades of use from their Prophesy's. They ran tube power amps and a bunch of 4x12's. In 1999 these were the ultimate guitar gadgets. Probably still cool for effects. Like a 2U deluxe Intellfex.
Neither one of those locations have high voltage. 25V is good for the 22uF. But 50V might be better. Anything will work for the bright cap but that 1000V is probably good quality. You should buy a few values and types and try them out.
I got a call from a big time major label A&R guy the day after playing a show in '91. Didn't piece together who he was until years later.
I declined sending a tape and some pictures. Said sorry sir, we can't entertain a manager because my bandmates drinking problems are so bad. DOH!
I did get...
Hi, that is really clean. Maybe a few caps have been changed. The orange drops. No big deal. I used a '69 for many years with two blackback cabs. It had a cascaded V1 and master volume like a JCM800 2203 / 2204. Michael R/T used to post his here and it sounded great with the cascade and a LarMar...
