It wasn’t too formal. I was most interested in his picking and muting. I sat about two feet away from him, watching and listening. He talked alot about tone. Only 7 of us. Course I thought about 100 questions afterwards.
 
Damn. That really sucks. I was hoping to get some advanced stuff. His picking is supremely dialed, a lot of economy/sweeping from what I can tell.

Only way I could describe it is more like strumming, not really picking and no real right hand muting. His action is super high too!
 
Love early Uli. The dude fuckin ruled on his strat.
The "new" Uli with the sky guitar, can't stand. It's weird same guy, same approach but ...sucks.
It just don't hit like he used to. Idk
