Love Uli.
I just watched this last night. Some serious Strat abuse. That whammy bar is what sold me when I saw the cover of In Trance. I always wondered why Uli and Rudolph set up next to each other. It's just something you don't see. Love the red plexi also.

my friends Mark and Brian were the top hard rock lead guitar players in rival bands on Oahu back in the 80s (along with another up and coming fella named Marty Friedman).

we hung out at a party earlier this year and they jammed some Uli

Hey I know that place, I played on that kit. Dan is the man!

Love early Uli. The dude fuckin ruled on his strat.
The "new" Uli with the sky guitar, can't stand. It's weird same guy, same approach but ...sucks.
It just don't hit like he used to. Idk
Have to kind of agree. When I first discovered Uli I had already heard Blackmore and Malmsteen, and I really dug Uli's strat into Marshall rock spirit.

You know, they say that the tone is "in the hands." But you know what else is in the hands? The guitar.

Cool to see that Tom Bukavac had Uli on his channel.
That was when he was touring with Ann Wilson and Uli is a fan of Ann. Uli was just there to see Ann and Tom spotted him and...video.

From what I understand he was with the Scorpions at Wacken this year as well.

Man, the top end he has now, in his sound, I imagine could be a little much at a loud show.
