Always hated them, then grew to like some songs. Don’t Look Back in Anger at River Plate is an amazing video.

I’d see em.

Cool they are working with Metallica again. Champagne Supernova oh ya

Like most bands I never noticed they were gone.

I’m a big fan of that era of 90s music but could never understand the love for Oasis.

Is it just Beatles fans?

This.

Dude got famous and bragged on how good they were.....I covered Champagne Superfuck for a year and couldn't wait to dump that turd from the set list.
I can think of EVERY OTHER 90s band I've ever heard as the choice to listen to over Oasis anything.

Most overrated clownshow band EVER.

i dont think they sound all that much like The Beatles honestly, but like The Beatles i cant imagine someone listening to their albums and not digging at least a few songs, like this one :m17: that V and Orange rig is sick!!

I do dig the gear for sure

I've never owned an Oasis album but I did quite like their early radio hits

Anyone else agree that Liam Gallagher's both hands behind the back with his upper body his leaning forward into the mic is the most pretentious frontman stance ever?

These guys hit it big when I was in my late teens. They summed up the culture in the UK for people around my age growing up in places like I did. Working class, sweary, boozey, coke-fuelled, spitting, fighting, lariness, raging egos etc - it reflected the zeitgeist in the UK at the time. Add in big sing-a-long choruses that people could chant in football (soccer) stadiums - it all added up. I felt they went off the boil big time after three albums - Definitely Maybe, What’s The Story and The Masterplan. Masterplan is actually really good - a collection of B-Sides that should have been a proper album release. As a band they weren’t and aren’t my usual cup of tea, but I’ll be getting tickets if I can. They’ve got some great songs and nostalgia is a bitch.
