Oasis is back!!!

I was a huge fan, and I have all of their CDs. I grew up listening to The Beatles because of my mom owning damn near every piece of vinyl they ever released back in the day.
 
I love liams werid ass stage presence. He walks on stage, and just blankly stares at 100k people in a football stadium. Then he puts his hands behind his back, looks upwards, and NEVER sings a wrong note. I heard a lot of bootlegs back in the 90's (a tape trader friend of mine really liked them), and i don't think i've ever heard liam out of key.

If he wasn’t in Oasis I’ve a feeling he’d be the sort of guy you see wandering aimlessly around UK town centres making people feel uncomfortable. The weird walk. The blankness. The random stuff he says…. You’d never be sure if he was going to try to hug you or punch you. Definitely a strange vibe.

It's the strangest thing, he's apparently not a great singer (which is why noel sings don't look back in anger, and all the falsetto backups)

But I've never heard him out of key either
 
Saw them back in 99? Spacehog, and the Black Crowes. My guitar teacher took me to the Oakdale Theater. I was a teen, he was flying down the highway with a cigarette pack full of joints and throwing beer bottles out the window! I thought I was gonna die that day.

I think his drunkenness got us kicked out of the show. Best day ever!

Oh man…you’re preaching to the choir. There have been multiple phases in my life where I listened to them nonstop. They really helped me learn to be able to sing and play simultaneously. But my musical tastes are just plain soft compared to a lot of the savages on this forum.

I hate arena shows but I may have to suck it up for this one. We will see

But their songwriting and riffs are just undeniable

Their B Sides in the early days were great - a lot should have been A Sides. The Masterplan B Sides album is really good - it has songs like Acquiesce, Fade Away, Headshrinker, Listen Up, The Masterplan, Half the World Away and Talk Tonight on it.

"Listen Up" is like Top 5 for me in their catalog. I love that song.

I wish I could get at least 4/1 on "Liam walks offstage at any point due to anger" I don't even think they are crazy enough to cancel the tour halfway through...they'd be on the hook to lose a literal fortune. One has to think they at least have their shit together A LITTLE BIT more now but I have been proven wrong time and time again
