Ahh.. communication…-that’s an art.I've primarily bought second hand but had a pretty quick turnaround with Wizard and Splawn. One or two slow ones - but the communication was good...
I think it's important to distinguish between long lead times, and screwing customers. I had a guitar built and the luthier said 12-18 months. I was fine with that, and in the end it was much quicker. This is way different than someone say 3 months, and after 6 they don't bother with emails.
Good things from small businesses often take time, and as long as their communications are reasonable and timeframes transparent I'm onboard.
This is THE JUGGERNAUT of the
“Stay small fo it all” type dudes..
It paints them into a corner right outta the canon
if they are not on it.
Nowadays??
Just get an AI answering service.
Communication= emails, emails are in stone so there’s some tight rope walking in two ton shoes if they’re not on it right outta the canon.
-that’s work within itself AT ALL TIMES, clients firing emails at you. all hours of the globe..
Me?- communication is critical,- like a Pacemaker to the company.
So be ready for me to communicate when I want to be paid, just like I communicated with you right outta the canon when you commissioned me to makeover your property.
Fire in the hole, let’s roll.. make that money!
