Ok, I’ve been WAITING for this thread. 😂

I like Diablo Guitars, but this is one of the biggest stretches I’ve seen. These are 2010 Silverface circuits with a blue faceplate—not actual Blueface-spec VH4s. Reissues usually sell for around $5k. $20k is the price for a real Blueface.

Also, just to clear the air—they’re not misinformed. I actually called them about a month ago before this listing went live. They mentioned getting a Blueface in on trade, and I was ready to buy it sight unseen. But then they told me it was the reissue, and I said, “Bummer, that’s just a standard VH4 with a blue faceplate. If it were the real deal, I’d take it.” The guy totally understood and even took my number in case they ever get a legit one.

So no, they’re not confused—they know exactly what this is.

Exactly, I always ask “who is gonna pay that much for a jones sig LP?!”, and then they sell out instantly with a long waiting list to boot. If there’s one amp to give it a shot asking something crazy it’s probably this one
How sad. How true.

Parker (the owner) always has some of the most awesome guitars and gear. Despite this listing he's pretty reasonable to deal with, tbh. I love his shop and his personal collection is amazing, too. He has a few of my old ones in his and vice versa. If you aren't familiar with him, he's a former guitarist of Queensryche up until a few years ago and was actually married to Geoff's daughter at one point. His current lovely wife is so awesome too and runs a bunch of bikini barista coffee stands. Anyways, yeah only a tool would pay that 🔧, but there are plenty of them and he does a lot of international business so he'll probably sell or trade this to someone for something else pretty quick all things considered.

Surprising to see actually, they are quite sane guys from what I seen on their insta. It might be a rage bait or an attention drawer.

Isn't this shop owned by a guy (Parker Lundgren), that was in Queensryche, for a little while?
They get some cool guitars into inventory, but I think there is a severe markup on most things.

He's a good guy and runs a good shop. I don't know what he's thinking here with this one, though.

Yeah, Lisa just said that above. It’s him.

Damn. I owned that exact amp once.
I bought from @Flavatrocious for about $3k and sold it back to him for the same. He later sold it for like $6k

The guy Oz on the back is Osmani, owner of Austin Guitar House

I've talked to these guys about other guitars. Super down to earth and easy to work with. They finally got a guitar in that I was on the hunt for but prices got so put of control in the market that I had to walk. They always alert me when there's one coming in. Really genuine guys but unfortunately haven't done any deals with them yet.

Main reason I sold it is because I couldn’t un-hear the amp or play on it without a Mesa 5 band EQ in the loop. Really kicks the VH4 into another realm.
Seemed kinda pointless (to me) to own all that amp and still need to put a $250 pedal in the loop.

I do not miss that amp at all.

I played through a reg vh4 at GC last week for shits and gigs and it was the exact same tone as usual. It was cool for like 30 seconds…

I felt like a douche asking for $6k But was curious to see what would happen. Sold within an hour. 2 guys wanted it one being Reza who wasn’t very happy when the other dude ponied up the dough first.

$20k is dumb for this amp.

Mesa MkIVa and a 3 Channel rev c triple rec are what keep me smiling these days.

Btw, if anyone has a triple rec 3 channel with a serial number in the 16200-17000 range let me know 👍🏽
