thats a fun pedal!! you’ll have fun scrolling the different circuits
I am TS whore.I really like the Bonsai. Each positions offer interesting possibilities, even if sometimes they feel very subtle, they can act differently depending on the amp or channel your are trying to enhance or even the guitar.

With my MarkV:25, I really dig the 808 with the IIC+ channel.

fun stuff!! I think the ts-10 sounds really good with Marshally amps

I got a Boss SDE-3000D waiting for me on Christmas, and I got an IK Multimedia Axe I/O Interface.

I am looking at picking up some IRs since there are many sales on them right now.

you know, I thought that pedal looked gimmicky, and disregarded it. Mistake. My buddy has one, and I got to mess around with it. really cool pedal.

Of course they have. Companys wish Black Fiday sales could last all year. Hell, the Home Depot has a Black Friday for spring to sell yard equipment. In the end though, buying something because it's a sweet deal just means you're getting exploited. The only way to truly save money is not to fucking spend it in the first place.

...Unless Pedaltrain is having any deals. I do need a bigger pedalboard.

Buying stuff on sale saves you money versus buying at full price. And it also benefits companies. I know that seems like a given, but need to stress that.

The manufacturers aren’t selling below cost, they actually make money even at these prices. It’s just a thinner margin. But they are counting on volumes in the festive season, which would boost their topline numbers, and if they are smart about pricing, also enhance their bottom lines.

Think of it as unsold inventory that they are keen to capitalise on. They’ve made all this gear, and now the year is coming to an end, and they want to present a rosy picture to shareholders. Even holding inventory involves a cost for companies.

It’s just a case of getting more bang for your buck, as a buyer. I wouldn’t equate it with exploitation.

The question is, why even buy when there isn’t a sale?

Many people don’t and that’s a good strategy. For companies, selling products at a lower cost makes their regular year-round pricing look suspect.

That’s why companies like Apple never have sales, they want to preserve that premium that they charge.

I couldn't pass up Neural DSP's 50% sale on Plugins.

I already have 2 Quad Cortexes, Gojira X, Plini X, Rabea, Fortin Nameless plugins,
but at 50% off, I was able to get the Parrallax for Bass, and the Tim Henson plugin for the same price that the Tim Henson usually sells for alone: $119
That's a deal. I'm getting ready to do some recording, so they'll get used immediately.

And they'll all be ported onto the Quad Cortex in time.
The Fortin Nameless ports tomorrow onto the QC.

You could also try 9.5 too if you find 9s too slinky, but acceptable to your hands. Stay within your normal brand if possible because not every manufacture/model of strings has the same tension and some 9s actually have more than other's 10s.
I do stick with three brands and have 9.5’s on hand, that’s what I’ve been using for a bit. I slowly quit 10’s a year or so ago.
Stringjoy, Curt Mangan and XLNY (for the brightness).

After totaling one of my bikes in July of ‘22, ate the backside face of a ditch. My left shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand can get to me.

Enough that I start thinking of teaching myself to play left handed.
I am left handed after all.

Piece of pie. The organ previously known as “hair pie”. Everyone is buying that even if they don’t realize it. Yet

i love hairy pie
Cool drink of water, such a sweet surprise
tastes so good, make a grown man cry

sweet hairy pie

man i haven't heard that song in a long time...

I really haven't been online over the past couple months unless it was work related so I bypassed all the shopping. I did just order an Evil Joe from Headfirst but no sale was applied(wouldn't expect it as Jason always works with me).

I wish I would have gotten some toontrack stuff but I don't really use the stuff I have.

Any deals going on with Kramers or EVH guitars anywhere?

Digitech Drop for $200 on Amazon.

I actually already own one, but the knob is being wonky (overly sensitive when scrolling) so thinking of selling it for cheap to recoup a little money. It actually still sounds fine and all functions work, just the knob scrolls weird so it takes a few extra turns to get it to your desired setting.

As for EVH or Kramer I would check Proaudiostar for sales, pitbull audio with BF2024 coupon code, or music store live with MSLBF2024.

Not sure what model you're after, but someone linked this which can only be had through the link as it was an email deal
https://www.adorama.com/evh108005576.html?emailPrice=t
That’s a great deal on the link but I’m not sure about the aesthetics of those. But the value at that price is pretty killer. I was looking at the Bumblebee striped or a Kramer Baretta.

Just ordered a Revv G8 last night. Got it for $138. Not a crazy deal but I could use another noise gate.

Ibanez PTEQ
Boss SD-1
Peterson StroboClip HDC
4 cans of Deoxit
Strap, strings, picks
Roland UM-ONE MK2

A few other things. Basic bought half my list.

Most interested in the Ibanez PTEQ. Looks like a Mesa 5 band made parametric.

Scooped a limited edition Walrus pedal for 100 bucks earlier. One of the silly leather-wrapped shits.
