Got one today. Also got a TS9 and one of the new ISP Decimator X Pedals.
Straight in it's basically a boosted Marshall with a Clean and Lead Channel + an 800 Channel in the 2 Minus-Mode.
Has more Low-End but is also a bit squishier and compressed.
I feel the Marshall more...

@Simon Dorn

How does it compare to the Mk1 and mk2?

I've heard that it's alot different in the low end, but i've not played a mk3 yet so I dont have any personal experience

If its more mid focused and less scooped, the mk3 is one of those amps that totally might be on my radar - the first two revisions are just too scooped and fizzly IMO

Never played an MK1. A while after this old clip, which was to my surprise linked on the Diezel Homepage for quite some time i had one at home for a few days. Hard to tell...it was so long ago, but i'd say yes, it is "more mid focused and less scooped". :)

I ordered UU kt88 almost a years ago and canceled the order to buy my dream guitar. Still want to try UU. But, seems like save money and buy Wizard HR would be better choice.
What's your Dream Guitar? Other than Clips I don't know about the Hell Razor.

I have mk 1 and mk 3 . Both killer
Mk3 way tighter but not better

Gibson 68 custom. I have no experience with Wizard. Many people say Wizard amps are raw, organic and punches hard like Mike Tyson. That's why I want to try Wizard.
Awesome Guitar. (y) I had a few Les Paul Customs and also a Gibson 68 Custom i ordered from Thomann, but i did send it back. It was "only" 4.600.- back then iirc...

You'll never know unless you try one. I'd be interested to try one.

Happy NAD!

The best herbert sound I heard recently was the one with Jeremy modded with NFB. Have you seen that one?

i got to hang out with Peter in the original Tone Merchants demo room and provide feedback when he had the Herbert prototype v1 chassis open and no headshell for it yet.
6550 tubes and no mid cut.
He had it cranking to where my abdominal cavity and pant legs were rattling. i filmed it too but lost the tapes over the years. 😔

It ended up being a NPDx2-Only and i'm quite happy about it.

The mk3 is much more clear in the midrange for sure. It’s also quite different between channels 2 and 3 vs the mk1/2. Channel 2 on the mk3 is where it’s at for rhythm tones, while channel 3 has much more midrange and is better for leads. I like them all personally but the mk3 is a welcome change and not worse by any means.
