    My MCi keeps blowing fuses

I assume you checked the bias? Being that you blew the fuse more than once you probably had a bad tube initially. Now you probably have one or two open screen resistors. You can measure them easy enough with a multi meter. If you did not check the bias then you're better off with a tech

Thanks. Just because I replaced the splitter to have both closer in resistance. Had the board up so why not.

    Ghost Notes Solved

Actually found a Piher today in my pile that measured right at 100K. When I got the amp, I found the plate voltage on the PI on the 100K side quite low, so I tested the resistor. I pulled it today and it tested 164k out of circuit (big drift up). I replaced it, and one of the bias splitters...

    Ghost Notes Solved

LOL. There's more to it. It's an Elan Metalhead. Elan has an added tube that hits the circuit after the stock stages right before the cathode follower. This allows the amp to go from clean to mean with barely any volume loss better than any other mod I have played. When the pull pot is in the...

    Ghost Notes Solved

It did the same thing with the old caps. I have recapped maybe 30 Marshalls with ARS and never had a problem so I doubt it is the caps. I will check out the video. Appreciate it

Thats is what I measured in circuit. The 100k plate load resistor. I fully recapped it with ARS. I have recapped probably 30 Marshalls

    Ghost Notes Solved

Thanks. 75 Superlead. Its fully recapped and has 50uf/50uf caps. I suspect the 100K plate resistor has drifted up. I am reading 164K but this is in circuit so it can be hard to tell. Teh 82 k reads 80k in circuit. PI is very closely balanced as well as power tubes are matched. Can the 100k...

Alice In Chains, Temple Of The Dog - 1990 Moore Theater HD

Lane would have gone on to be one of the greats. Great singer. I think the only way he could sing that way was because he was drugged out and in pain. He was doomed from the start. Only one left is Vedder. Cobain, Staley, and Vedder. There are others but they were the biggest. I am sure I am...

Yup! I hate it and want to know what solves it LOL. I even disconnected the OT primaries and tacked in another OT to eliminate the OT as an issue.

Thats the only solution. A royal pain in the ass. Better to just sell the guitar and disclose it unless it's your keeper.

Intonation problem on Gotoh Floyd .

Some body woods are softer and the stud holes wear which puts your bridge more forward, and causes this issue.
