I've been looking at those ever since they came out, but avoided them because of being made in Indonesia, (bad experiences).. Seems later 2023 and most of 2024's moved back to Korea? They're nice looking guitars. The red is pretty 🔥
I couldn't tell you. I used my ears, and really didn't care about the scientifics. Did you get a manual with it? I think it lays it all out, atleast mine did, (bought it brand new).
The excursion is speaker cabinet dampening. Like the old Peavey Triple XXX's. It does just as described, regarding the reaction in conjunction with the speakers.
Those are killer heads, and I've almost talked myself into buying another one. That, or a Helios 50. The loop volume on the XTC 50 is...
Pro Audio Star? They do have some killer deals, but they also do some shady bait & switch. Be careful.. They like to advertise deals on stuff they don't have, and you have to jump through hoops to get your money back. They try to upsell you, (that's if they answer your calls or emails). They...
5150's need some volume to get rid of that preamp fizz. They're not a bedroom amp. Atleast not the old-school Peaveys. The EVH 50 watt is great at lower volumes.
No. I've had mostly C-1 SLS Elites with a Floyd, (2 Antique Black Fade, and Blood Burst), and I had 2 PT Elites. Those were Hipshot bridges, no issues. They have great string alignment/straight pull to the tuners.
I've had other SLS Elites. They all have the same neck profile. I prefer a much wider profile - I'd try one if they were 43mm at the nut and Gibson scale. The C1 feels better with the longer scale, but same 42mm at the nut.
They make some nice guitars these days, but their focus on the metal crowd, all the bling and abalone and real hideous offerings in the early 2000's almost sank the ship. They had a roller coaster of guitars, most people disliked until they started classing them up again. I've had several of the...
Same guy owned both companies, but they were run separately. Of course they both used World Music in South Korea for higher end imports, but dozens of companies did.
Schecter was primarily focused on high end, USA made guitars back when it was purchased in 1987. Your Strat and Tele copies. When...
The same guy, owned ESP and Schecter, but they're run very independently. So, technically, ESP doesn't own Schecter, the same guy owned both. Not sure where they stand now, I know the guy just died a few months ago.
