Used to do the thing quite a bit. Did it with one, unless you're on the road for a long period you don't really need more than 1 IMO. Especially if it's your local venue.
With that said I haven't broken a string in probably well over a decade but the other guitarist definitely broke a string...
Either way, if what Hagar said was true....assuming it is....Selling out every show for a decade, that is definitely something and a huge part of the band's history.
Idk, I'm definitely not a Van Halen freak. They were awesome and Legendary. Eddie was of course innovative and changed the game but I'm into other music a lot more.
I'm not a fan of Van Hagar at all as any VH I would listen to are the early days but Hagar is not wrong here at all.
Of course...
Good comment regarding the pot values. In my opinion it wouldn't hurt to try a 57 in the bridge or maybe even a fishman.
I only suggest that because if I'm not mistaken you can easily swap those pickups without any wiring differences.
You might not like the end result however, I love the EMG...

I've only had a few solid state amplifiers, a crate GX when I first started playing guitar and didn't know...
This would be even better, assuming it works. Much more reasonable attaching it and being able to remove it from your existing guitar vs spending $1k+ on the jamstik.
This looks super dope for any guitarist who uses a Midi controller for other instruments to record with. Just randomly stumbled on the video and first time seeing it.
Maybe a little pricy idk but definitely cool and would beat programming by a mile.
Most youtube personalities and many endorsees are there this day and age as a personality. It's a form of entertainment, form of information, whatever you want it to be. I go watch Glenn flicker to laugh and learn a little about recording, not for guitar lessons.
I see a lot of guitarists who...
Cryptopsy, well at least Jon from Cryptopsy used triple recs for a time period as well.
I've only tried a few mesas and could never get along with the recto, more of a mark series kind of guy but some people get them sounding great.
I can't find the video but Frankenhouser did a Dual rec video...
