the only problem with the " cheap " klones is that they are all SMD parts ...... some pedal circuits sound just fine or maybe even better with SMD .... and some don't ... the Klon circuit done with SMD parts is one of the don'ts IMO

I like Neutriks and some of the Reans also ..... but when I did my pedalboard I stepped up and went with the Square Plug...

Mogami 2524 cable is about a buck a foot ...... then it's just a matter of what jacks you want ... those can get pretty dam expensive .... but decent ones aren't that bad ...... all in all I pay less than half per foot than if I were to get them from Sweetwater etc .

this was my very first attempt at designing my own pcb .... it's a DS-1 circuit I messed with using a mix of a few popular Keeley and Wampler mods ....

I just paid 160.00 to get a chassis and Transformer set to my door ........ it was roughly about the same 2 years ago for the same weight .. not really saying it's unreasonable .... it's just expensive .... you got to keep that in mind when looking at their prices ..... because their prices...
