Lately I decided to change my usual stations on my Sirius XM in the car and caught some Avenged Sevenfold tunes that I've liked.
So far I've listened to
- hail to the king
- bat country
- this means war
- beauty and the beast (i think that's what it was called)
Any other tunes by this band...
Thanks Dude.. that 95Q in your video sounds real good modded.
Yeah the FX8 Wah has multiple WAH choices to pick from as well as a wide variety of settings to adjust. Honestly, makes it a bit hard to setup a good WAH sound right away, took me a while to get a real good sound, but once you...
Used the Dimewah for years.. until I switched to the Fractal FX8, which does the wah for me along other effects.
Still have the Dimewah.. my guitar tech from years modded it for me for true bypass. Still being it out every now and then to play around with it.
Cheers and good luck.
I have the same gate in my rig.. I put it in the loop of my Nitro. Never had an issue with getting the pedal to cut noise and leaving sustain as is. I use the Side Input/Output to go into the front of the amp, the input acts as a signal detection input.
For the price, you definitely cant go...
My Nitro Has TONS of low-end... and I have noticed a lot of Splawn owners keeping their bass setting down, at least lowering the rest of the EQ.
The Bass on my nitro is at 7 o'clock. Maybe I'll have to invest in a EQ to take some of that boomy low-end out.
I have the WGS Retro 30 speakers in a 2x12 cabinet, I can tell you they're different than the V30s. Definitely have a deeper low end and roll off highs. I find they didn't cut as well as the V30s. However, the Retros are to me ALOT easier to mic and get a good FOH out of them without...
Have you tried or owned the pedal ?
I did see the video on YouTube, but manufacturers will always make their products sound top notch.
I was hoping for some feedback from someone who has owned or tried the pedal in person.
Thanks
Their support team is amazing. When I had my rack effects and used Ground Control Pro, Ben stayed on the phone with me for almost an hour walking me through how to setup certain functions. Absolutely amazing.
I myself tried a couple of noise gates over the last few years of getting back into pedals and ended up settling on the GupTech Sun Gate:

Has an Input/output that's used for sensing guitar signals and pass thru and Send/Return. I use it in...
I recently started to do that as well.. working great. Treble around 9 o'clock and Presence around between 11 and 12 o'clock.
It opens the amp up, and sounds fuller for sure.
FYI I recall conversing with another forum member here about a 50-watt Splawn Nitro and Scott had told them he could build a 2 separate channel 50-watt version full head size.
I know this doesn't fully meet your criteria.. but the Fractal FX8 is great. I dabbled with so many different effect units, went rack, floor multieffects , etc.. and ended up with the fractal FX8 Mk ii. 99% of my effects and all channel switching is done by the FX8.
The thing I found with...
100% agree with you. Bought my first one for my LP Classic, and liked it so much I bought another one for my other LP. Thinking about buying one more for my Gibson V.
I use this one with my Lespaul.. very comfortable.

Good luck
I looked around when i got my LP Classic and decided on the Grover locking tuners. Direct replacement to the original non-locking Grovers and did not change the weight balance on my LP either.
However, I've always been interested in the Hipshot locking tuners as well.
Good luck
