I had the IR-X and a Power Station to use as a backup gig rig a few months back.. It sounded great but was actually more effort to transport than a compact head so I sold it. Actually seriously considering an IR-D though. I had a SYN30 head for a minute with a Z Wreck module, that was killer...
The one in my avatar.....I paid $850 for an SLP that was gutted and hand wired by Blankenship. Mark charged me $175 to mod it and I picked it up in person. JB offered me $1750 for it, he had to have it, so I sold it...at the time a $725 profit was a no brainer, I could always have Mark mod...
Wanted to add that Its got an 8ohm, 75 watt Warehouse Retro 30 speaker in it. I did try a Guytron BigTone 55 in it with the blue frame you can see in the photo here but I switched it back out and prefer the Retro 30 for sure. As far as I know I'm the 2nd owner of this amp and the Retro 30 was...
If you can find one the Tech 21 Trademark 10 is an awesome just hanging around the living room type amp...won’t break the bank and I for sure liked it better than the Katana I had.

Too funny...I had talked myself into just keeping this, logged on to delete the ad and bigger than shit an "I'll take it!" message was in my inbox.
Sold and gone.
That's about what I'm into this one for including a brand new SG hardshell case, it was hard to say no to, local sale delivered to me, easy deal. Felt great and played great when I got, it was just sort fugly hahaha , so I know the bones are good. I got another headstock overlay for it, gonna...
Have a few projects in a progress.... here’s the bones of a poor SG I’m bringing back to life. Someone decided to put a shitty overlay on the regular screened headstock... starting over, gonna shoot it with some sort of metal flakey color... suggestions?
Love it, what’s the story with the bridge and saddles?
I think that grey anodized pick guard looks badass, still keeps the focus on the graphic and blends in.
I’ll add that I’ve totally reached a point where zero fucks are given re refinishing an expensive guitar you already know you...
