Just a quick rub with the magic eraser to take some of the tackiness off the finish. Almost imperceptible

Really -- most of the Suhrs have the really thin, quick layer of satin finish. Yours -- not so much?

It got a bit tacky. I live in HI with ridiculous humidity all year.

Something worth mentioning: I also have 3M non-steel "equivalent" pads. They don't work the same as 000 or 0000 steel. For a neck or frets, if not real steel 0000, I'd lightly use the 000 3M maybe followed by the 0000 3M. Haven't tried 2000 grit paper.
