Every time I have the urge for a high gain Marshall clone, I just remind myself that Ceriatone exists. :ROFLMAO:
$10k for an amp like this is nutty.

I had a Natas and a Meathead. Sold them both within 6 months. Should of kept them knowing they would fetch that amount!!!!

Sold them for $5K each like 8 years ago or so.

Did not jive with them, very sterile and harsh. Tight but not in a pleasant way, surgical would be the right term. Kept my Peters over them, will never sell that one. Does everything perfectly.

Which Peters

Had a bones that i enjoyed but ultimately sold it for alot of $. Funny thing is i bought bubba's Fortin modded VTM and it blows away the bones i had. It's one of the most aggressive amps i own. 10k for a NATAS is insane.

Seems to be sold?

lol @ poor taste to have other amps in the photo? Yea, we're all one-amp folks here.

Apparently a IIB Colosseum and $3500 cash is what this amp sold for.

I don’t believe any amp is worth that much
Neither do i. I was saying that it was The only Fortin amp i ever wanted to try. The rest i didn't really like except maybe the evil pumpkin but Jason can make a 10watt Gorilla sound amazing.

yeah i had the serial number 6, but i couldn't get this kind of cash at the time, probably becuase randall was releasing or had released the clones which were just as good if not better because of the variety

to be honest i'd pay roughly that much, hopefully lower if a DAR FBM ever came up for sale again

and that amp is uhhh a fucking beast compared to the NATAS and it's variations

LOL I Sold one of mine to someone in the Japanese market for 12500 lol If this goes for 9.5-10 maybe i should move mine i don't know.

If true the person that bought it sounds like they eat paint chips.
Yep. It’s true. The seller was waiting on that deal to close or he was going to trade my bud a super custom Mayones worth about $7k for it. The deal went through though so my boy didn’t get it. He was going to also take the NOS tubes out and my boy was going to re-tube it himself. Apparently it was like 2k in NOS tubes. Lol!

Dude if your buddy wants one just till him to get a Randall Satan used for 2k and call it good.

Pretty sure he’s had a one. It’ll never be the same investment. He’s got a great studio and a lot of grail gear that at least he actually uses. He also has a good retail business for QC captures and Kemper profiles so he was looking to have a unique offering for that as well.

I had a Satan for 4 years. I thought it did the “modern metal” tone extremely well. Especially in a band context.(loud drummer, loud bass player, another guitar player…) I ran mine through a Boogie Recto 4x12(360w), playing detuned 7-string guitars. It was tight, punchy, and always cut through.
My opinion is that the Satan is a one trick pony. But it does that one trick perfectly.
Plus, the Ch.2 clean tone was actually seriously good.
