True. Especially because videos like this are now a dime a dozen. It’s actually lost it’s shock appeal. I don’t want to take anything away from this kid because there’s no dout he’s extremely talented but I’ve seen 9 year old Asian girls do the same thing.

Oh yeah man, I was 15 years old with a Gorilla combo the size of my wallet, and Aria Pro II "The Cat" and shitty strings.

Without sounding like an old man, that is so awesome that there are at least some kids still listening to great music like that instead of the "here today, gone tomorrow" hits that are out these days. I'll hear my kid playing some rap song with just a booming beat and some guy repeating something like "got da trey, trey, yo alla ba da way, got my money in a hay-hay" and shit like that. I'm like "I could write that crap in 10 minutes using my Reaper software and EZDrummer!!!"

I don't expect everyone to listen to guitar heavy stuff all the time obviously but someone like Taylor Swift at least writes her songs and can play guitar.

Sure, but not having chops is my own fault. Lots of guys got great on cheap gear. Kid is great and happens to have killer gear.

Totally, I just wonder if he even goes outside, gets dirty and gets to be a kid or is his parents grooming him to be a prodigy?
