I just played this amp today and if you like everything from Angus to Eddie to Lynch this is your amp. You can play it straight in with a high output pickup or low output PAF and it's all there, it will also take boosts and OD's just fine. A very enjoyable amp to play that you don't have to fight, it has awesome harmonic feedback when you want it.

Killer amp bump!
Personally, I would just pull out that "Polarity" switch and hard wire a LO/HI switch for internal variac switching between the 0-120V taps and 100-240V taps!
Everything in this amp is right and NOS Sylvania tubes. Kudos!!

With 120ACV wall voltage B+ voltage is 422 DCV, you really don't need it much lower than than, if you do you can variac it down further if you like but it's not necessary. My 68 plexi runs around 400 DCV B+ variaced down to 90 ACV, so with this original PT you are already in the brown sound voltage range.
