I can't say they're the same quality as I've never played them. The fretwork looks great and the attention to details seems wonderful. I was only referring to looks.

They didn't mess up any style, they did what they wanted to with the guitar. It would be stupid if it looked exactly like the Jackson or ESP RR style V, what would be the point of that?

That is exactly what they are. They are the same quality etc to ESP, Jackson and Ibanez guitars mid line guitars.
The thing is the import charges tag on about $1200 per guitar according to the price.
So how do the other companies build the same quality guitars, with the same quality woods and hardware, yet sell them for $500-$800....?????

I spoke with Itaru, nice guy and has great things to say about Jackson for all they did for him during his learning days. He does not agree with your thoughts about Jackson.
