I got a full 920D upgrade set, dropping it off in a bit. Those were designed for a 250k total load, most likely. The JB was designed for 250k pots, or a 125k total load.
In your case, delete the tone knob and you will have the proper load. If it doesn’t sound right (too bright) hook it back up. If it does, and if you want a tone knob, upgrade to 500k’s.
It's getting:
*Custom '72 pickguard for traditional humbuckers.
*Seymour Duncan '59 Bridge Trembucker, and '59 neck, (zebras).
*920D 500K pots with PIO 022uF Caps
*Treble Bleed on Bridge Volume
*Pure Tone Jack
*Switchcraft 3-way
*Graphtech Tusq XL nut
*Kluson staggered locking tuners.
That should fix it. I absolutely love this guitar. It'll be an absolute monster.
