That's the only Slayer record that sounds like Jeff and Kerry might have strayed from the usual EQ boosted jcm800 setup. Or maybe they just did some post EQ'ing? The tone sounds different than their previous albums.

Also I got to meet them for this album at an in store near my parents house. Waitied outside with degenerate 90's metal trash. Slayer were drunk as balls

you're lucky.. I waited outside a venue to meet them and when they walked out they just ignored everyone and went to their Van ... not even a nod .... that was the last Slayer album I ever bought haha
