Nice! I didn't go see the Best of all Worlds show, but definitely couldn't resist the Vai/Satch. Gonna see Vai with the King Crimson/Beat show as well. I will say it'd been almost 30 years since I had seen Satriani in concert and he's even older than me and he absolutely kicked ass!Hey Eric!

Is he actually mic'ing those cabs or for looks only? I'm guessing looks and there might be a cab mic'd in the back. The live sound is clear and huge but I wonder if Joe has also fallen to the seduction of the IR's for live use. No question this rig craps on his DS-1 in JVM rig. If he is mic'ing, what mics are those?
I still think the price is bonkers but yes, if you compare it to Wizard prices, I can see where it would feel like a bargain.

Those cabs allow mono, wet/dry and w/d/w within a single cab. Also, there are two different type speakers in the cab.

Yep, I figured Dylana would have Joe setup with all the "3rd Power gadgets". But I also wonder if because they have so much space they are just saying fuck it and going with WDW in a classic wide format because they have the means.

probably some decent artist pricing but maybe not, considering the amp was made for him, wasn’t it? They’ll also sell quite a few from the exposure of the tour. But if Joe get’s a cut of each amp sale, then he probabaly got the first ones at a good price. Ah..who the fuck knows

And honestly who cares what his endorsement deal is... amps sound monstrous

What I find interesting, is that Joe didn't just stretch the Marshall endorsement and get some reissue Superleads modded by someone for a tad more gain and whatever else he thinks he would need to recreate the sound? I'm guessing #rd Power see's a chance and taking some business away from Friedman or competing in the classic hot rodded Marshall territory so they gave Joe those amps at a huge discount.
