I really liked it listening back in my truck for the crucial “couple days after” test, I really spent no time tweaking at all either. When I get a minute I’m gonna do a boosted blue channel one as well, i like that channel more than the red

Dig it! Did you do the c137 mod on the blue?we were supposed to get severe torrential storms so i started drinking whisky and beers on an empty stomach and next thing you know im writing riffs and recording... and it didnt even rainall the talk of the 5153 in that pros thread made me bust mine out and fuck with it. this is my new favorite strat with the 78', a red channel track on each side and a blue down the middle, my ibanez 4x12 with v30s of unknown year and origin and a unidyne 57. literally just put everything at 6 except the mids which are at about 10 oclock and hit record. i might be starting to understand the love for these amps

The blue channel was pretty difficult to like prior to the mod. Muddy low mids that were hard to dial out. Worked ok for sludge and doom type stuff.
