Turned the recorder on for a few minutes
Yes, I just got it. All I did was change strings and set it up. Sweetwater did a great job on the Plek and TUSQ Nut.Even though I built my own Jake guitar years ago with the SDS-1's and Allan Holdsworth JB, a local JEL Charvel that's listed for 1K has tempted me to go look at it! You still running the stock JB in it?
The 3rd Power amp sound's great Carl!![]()
Yes! Love Is Worth The Blues. Jake did the tune on his Retraced album.Sounds killer . Some West , Bruce and Laing in that first clip ?
Right on. I’ve first heard that Jake version then I dug back and got the originalYes! Love Is Worth The Blues. Jake did the tune on his Retraced album.
Yes. Really great lead tone.great lead tones there!
I would have loved to get the USA model. At this time there weren’t many available.Very nice !
Carl, did you consider the USA model? I question whether it is worth the extra $
Jake said in an interview that there is supposed to be a MIM version of the blue burst. I’d like to have both
I am with you regarding the truss rod adjustment (and the Count's video). I'm all in on the blue MIM version assuming it comes to fruition and has a truss rod wheelI would have loved to get the USA model. At this time there weren’t many available.
After I saw Count Dracula’s (Yuge Velveeta) recent demo of the MIM, I figured I’d get one from Sweetwater. I had it plek’d and had them replace the plastic nut with a TUSQ one.
I love the blue USA model, but taking off the neck on a 3k guitar, to adjust the truss rod is a deal breaker.
