I know things are rough for you @ the homeless shelter right now Peck-ass-O but once your finger paintings you did on the Psych ward sell on ebay you'll be moving up to a "van down by the river" before you know it.
Keep the faith.

i grew up watching mark tornillo rage with tt quick
they used to cover restless and wild and son of a bitch.
when Mark got the gig everybody was so happy for him
tt quick were an asskicking band and the bad ass guitar player dave "the chainsaw" dipietro was our local evh but with a les paul.... they worked the east coast club scene for 25 years and basically were done and retired when he got the accept gig.
They should have made it but like many bands they just didn't .
mark got lucky in the 11th hour....hard work pays off once in awhile and yea that performance is dope OP

this was the center piece of their set with extended guitar solo

these albums were slept on
sad

We likely ran into each other if you saw TT Quick in the early 1990's. I'd always go see them. Prophet as well.... even Zakk Wylde would play at some shows.

TT quick was a good band, the guitar player was a smokin player... I think I wore the Metal of honor tape out back in the day.

I took guitar lessons from Dave DiPietro when I was 14. The following year he moved from Wallingford, CT to New Jersey to join TT Quick. Genuinely really nice guy.
Back in the 1990’s was a taking lessons from Kenny Dubman (played with Dave in Prophet and other small bands). Dave is a nice guy. Last I saw him was at a Sandy benefit concert for the Jersey Shore. I spoke with him only for a few minutes. Chatted with Chris Caffery as well at that show.

They're famous for one song.
Rrrrright... :sneaky:
Fast as A Shark. Doin' speed metal before it was cool, basically. 1982.
Metalheart
Balls to the Wall
Son of a Bitch

even
Princess of the Dawn
Restless and Wild
Breaker
Flash Rockin' Man (play it together with Two Minutes to Midnight and Saxon's Power and the Glory :p )
etc...

And indeed they've always rocked.
I have a mid 80's live bootleg on vinyl (2 records), Metal Heart Attack Live!

Apparently it's pretty rare nowadays. Rocks hard. Great setlist too.

As much as the performance is killer I can’t watch more than a song or two. I just can’t stand modern sounds for hard rock and metal. Drums sound like software and the guitars are always overly compressed with a nasally or peaky midrange. As if everyone is using a 5153 or something. I think back to how awesome these bands sounded back in the early 80’s. So raw and aggressive and live had great rough edges to it that just don’t exist anymore it seems. One of the few bands that is still really dynamic live and with drums that sound unique to the player and the night is Maiden. Bums me out, because love to hear these songs still being played by these bands but the sound is fatiguing and boring as fuck.

you kinda right...
The sound gets more modern and anemic through the years...I wish they had the sound of the late 80's...
Some bands still have the same sound vibe as the old days...
For example:

not even close to a one song wonder band. Wolf is one of my favs.

Now that was fun as fuck. Really dug that guitar tone. Cool song as well.

For sure! Reminds me a bit of Tokyo Blade, Omen (minus the vocals) and Jaguar...on steroids...and coke.
