I’m an A2 fan…very happy with the Jalen Pinnacle in my alder Charvel
Had a JB with an A2 mag in the black Charvelcaster. Found it to be quite middy. A lot of that is down to the roasted alder body, imo.
So scottosan wound a Roxy to make that guitar sound closer to the Suhr Modern I have, which has a mahogany body/maple top, with a SSH+...thick yet articulate, pretty close to a good LP sound. The Roxy was a huge improvement. I can't help but wonder how a W8 will sound in that guitar....

Suhr Aldrich and Thornbucker +
Duncan Custom Hybrid
TN sunset Strip and Roxy
I'm very curious how the TB+ will stack up. And that Hybrid, wonder bout those too.
Nice selection!
I will say, if you like the Aldrich but think it's a bit too thick, the SSH+ is supposed to be more open. It has quite a bit of low end in the Suhr Modern Satin Flame, almost too much, but actually sounds really good in all of the recordings.

Yes the Aldrich is a SSH+ with more basses and little more compression but always dynamic and musical.
