That sounds cool. Make it a little different, distinguishing it from the older amps. You did order one of the amps, Right? Or did the name plate stop you?67Mopar":2ruho31l said:Buuuuurn II: The Sequel.
The actual font looks awesome! As I said, the size is a bit too small, and that cheap plastic plate must go. The 4 x screws are laughable! It's actually not so much the screws themselves, but the way the face-plate deviates inward at the corners, due to the pressure of the screws. A risen "Cameron" logo in white nylon (same as Bogner, Marshall, Splawn...) with no plate would look better. Certainly more professional.

I spoke with Brad today... Very cool guy! I'm waiting for one with the new style logo, external bias points w/external bias pot adjust, and MIDI loop on-off function. The CCM-100 is going to have all these new features. The CCV-100 will eventually have these revisions also.glip22":3vfr3xeg said:That sounds cool. Sounds like you are not familiar with the Cameron logos. They are metal and the "Cameron" name is raised.

I actually think the logo is undestated and cool looking but that wouldn't even be a consideration if I were interested in this amp.67Mopar":1c2lls3g said:A $3500.00 amplifier with a "cheesy" looking name-plate secured with 4 wood screws just doesn't look right. It looks like someone built a kit amp, and made their own logo in shop class!Lp Freak":1c2lls3g said:I could give a shit about a logo. If the amp rips that's all that should matter.67Mopar":1c2lls3g said:I wish they would put a better looking logo on the front of the amp and cabinet. One like the Bogner, or Marshall type - with the risen name logo only. The name painted on a plate with the 4 x screws just doesn't cut the mustard. The "Cameron" logo itself is way too small also. Make the logo at least as big as the MKII Marshall's. A MIDI switchable loop on-off, external bias points, and bias trim accessible from the outside rear of the chassis would complete this amp for sure!
I'm just say 'in...
The size of the logo itself is geometrically incorrect to the size of the structure it's attached to. Especially when you look at the 4 x 12 cabinet. I'm not "trashing-talking" the quality of the amp at all. I just think it needs a cosmetic adjustment.
btw - you forgot to add; "So let it be written..." to the end of your reply.

Don't go copying the logo scipt like a Bogner though. The chassis, head box, and topside layout were copied from a 101 chassis already! This is on the original Cameron CCV. One reach in there to change V1 and V2 without pulling the chassis, and you know what I am talking about. Not sure if the new and improved models will be on a Bogner chassis or not. You'll have to wait on the prototype to see if anything changed.

Maybe Chevrolet should change the Corvette logos over to a metal plate with 4 screws? I mean, it would look soooo much better...parntz145":1qx0r0um said:The logo was taken from the old corvette's. At least thats what mark told me.

You're right. I didn't give the CCV a chance since I really loved my Jose Marshall and was afraid to sell it. Once I made a video of it, I realized that the CCV was very versatile and could sound better than my Jose. At that point, I sold off the Jose. I'm not going to lie though...I also was looking to cash out and make some money. It would have been az if mistake since money isn't everything.
Now I want a CCM to go with it.
