Stock plexi preamp with modded power supply. Seems to get it done.

Same amp different guitar. I've had this amp forever. Other than that its my custom Wizard. Sounds very close to this plexi.

I loved my old Fortin modded JCM800. IMO, I have only made on brain fart move in my life in regards to gear. Selling this amp!!

Really nice playing and tone on that one. Original comp?

Thanks. Yeah it's part of one of my tunes. Always liked that James Gang Funk 49 riff, thought I would mess it up alittle. Fun groove to jam over.

the aggression comes from the player, not the amp. The question does not compute, therefore no logical answer can be given LOL

Amen brother......................AMEN.

Polite don't want to scratch my guitar I will be flipping soon playing ain't going to produce aggressive.

Isn't the market just flooded with these type of amps now. However..........and I hate to say it but some of the older Cameron modded Marshalls were among the best I've heard and I thought they sounded a lot better than Splawns or Roccaforte's or whatever. Fortin mods were a bit more aggressive and more suited to thrash and metal.

And funny thing is, a good stock JCM800 turned up loud with a tube screamer can hang with any of them.

Love my stock '78 JMP MKII 2203 boosted by my silver Klon. Gotta have that high gain Marshall snarl. It's in the transformers.

also looking at the colby mod machine

looks pretty cool as well

I gotta be honest...I have a friend who has a Klon....he also has 5 original tube screamers, 6 old Marshall heads/cabs...was a career musician back in the early 80s for about a decade. Anyway he's had these pedals for a long time, and the Klon he got cheap. I boosted one of his JMP 2204s with it...then used a cheapo. Didn't hear a difference...

Anyway, if you have the cash try a Wizard or the new Metro Plex...

Reza's Friedman 1987x sounds killer above. Strongly prefer it to the others that have clips. I have never played a Cameron modded one but some of the clips I have heard are about the only thing that has really given me true GAS to get a real amp again.

There are a LOT of cool hot rod Marshall style amps, now. Much moreso than when everyone was playing hot rod Marshalls. LOL.

That sounded fucking killer! Kerang for days. I preferred it to the Metroplex demo he did.

edit…of course..it's insanely expensive too….

Really Impressed by these Landry Clips

lower and medium gain tones (this guy also plays extremely well)

Great aC/DC and Rush riffage

higher gain
Get your Stone in Love groove on

Ceriatone Yeti. Cover a ton of ground and always sounds great.
