All the decent guitars & amps have dried up on Craigslist.

This is the truth, cl is stripped man. This sucks.....
 
I was able to grab a Mesa Mark V 90W head and 2x12 horizontal Recto cab for a good price locally in June. That said, it has been pretty dry though it looks to be picking up this past week.

Look at this D-bag Guitar Center closed these guitars out a year ago for $699. I actually bought one so did my buddy. I ran an ad warning people about his outrageous price it pisses me off when people try to screw people over like that.

It's been on craigslist for about a year he has a bunch of stuff that hes selling, same story all of it is way overpriced he lists all of it every week several times.

He's probably related to the 'Alien Nation' rip off artist on eBay...calls himself the 'sensei' of 80s guitars lol. Lists Charvel model series hardware for hundreds of dollars. Clown.
 
Patience is key and stuff comes on/off at random times. Scored a Presonus 16.4.2 with case and stand for $400.

I’ve played many $2000 amps that the XXX will hang with.
 
I'm seeing nothing in the Boston area
2 weeks ago someone posted a Charvel 750Xl with no case for $1100, barely lasted a few hours LOL!
if it wasn't in western ma it would've been mine but I couldn't get out there that day . :(
other than that nada
 
It seems like it keeps getting worse at least for "metal" gear around me

Okay, that's fair. The XXX is a great amp, especially for the money - I'm just having trouble thinking of any 2000$ amp I would take it over that isn't a boogie or a modern Marshall.

There’s like one guy left who posts quality gear on the Atlanta CL, but never anything I’m looking for. His pictures are always in front of a zebra hide on his wall. Rarely is there anything worth me even considering heading down out of the mountains and into traffic for.

Some say Facebook marketplace is better now, but I don’t like to use Facebook and when I have used marketplace in the past it was a shitshow, especially to try and sell gear. Because it’s so easy to message on there, people don’t think twice about wasting your time asking questions and being chatty even though they have no intention to make an offer.
 
There would be more/better stuff on Craigslist if it hadn’t become such a shitshow to deal with. Around here, it’s just not worth the hassle and hasn’t been for a few years.
