Not just possible, more likely than not. Having just finished recording an album and insisting on using real amps, cabs & mics, when using good IRs and digital amps as a benchmark, I can say that it's pretty hard to get a reamp from real gear that as good- never mind better- than the recorded tone of the models.

That's a better and less snarky way of putting it, and I agree based on my limited experience.

It's more like a chance of 50/50 nowadays to get it right, Thanks for listening. I was just kidding with the Line6 Forum coment. I did 3 CDs with PODs :D It works. I was surprised myself how well the POD came out.
