Some nice gear there for sure! I must say, I am a recent convert to 2x12's. Don't know I'd ever go back to a 4x12 at this point.

My rig for this weekend's outdoor gig. Diezel D-Moll through the Two Notes Torpedo Live - direct to my active stage monitors and to FOH. No cabs on stage.

Nice clean rig. What are your thoughts on the Torpedo in a live setting?

Sir,

I hate to be the on to tell you...............You have 4 cabinets on their side, it'll never work

You rig looks killer!

Amazing rigs guys! I am in the process of moving, so many things are boxed up already, but when I get things moved and unpacked I will post a photo.

I will include my cream colored 20th XTC head along with 2 Diezels (Herbert and Hagen with white headshell), Soldano SLO (Clapton Grey), and my Splawn QR (plexi style headshell). Maybe even throw in a Mesa or two for good measure, I don't discriminate

I definitely think the Rig Talk family has some of the sweetest gear around, now the question is, can we play it

BTW Steve, how did the Torpedo Live perform at your gig(s)? Very interested, even though I have a crap load of cabs, I am considering this and he C.A.B. from Torpedo. Nice thought to be able to lighten the load at gigs. It's just so ROCK to have a full stack...however my back may not agree for much longer

For me, the Torpedo in a live setting is where it shines. I've done two gigs with it - one indoor and one outdoor. It and the Diezel performed well with no problems at all. I can run the amp master around noon or so, attenuate the tone -6 to -12dB for the sweet spot and control the signal level to the FOH direct and also the volume in my active monitors. Playing without a cab is the best thing I have ever done for sound quality and reducing stage volume. The signal is fed through our Mackie monitor mixer to the other 3 guys IEM's so they can hear me. I place the active monitors in a traditional manner in front of me and they are directional where the ambient isn't flooding the stage like a cab. I can control the band mix through our Mackie too. So, we totally bypass inept sound systems/soundmen for the monitor mix.

Rikk is a great player with some killer chops. Congrats on the CR Alsip endorsement. I played the green one Rikk has and it smokes! Just partial to my Suhr's.
