I really like some of the Halo ambient tones, but I prefer a Boss pedal footprint. They have anything close?

Darren, check out the Boss Space Echos. One is typical Boss pedal size, the other larger.

I have the Halo and absolutely love it. I have the SDE 3000 as well but is bulky and a lot of tweaks, etc. I'm thinking of picking up the Sde-3.

I was looking at the SDE-3 also, but the SDE-3000D went on sale for $250, so I got one of those for Christmas. I have not messed with it much yet, but really liked that I heard. It can do a good dual delay with Chorus, with an analog dry through.

What about the Halo Core? IMO nothing currently does the Halo thing.

I thought the original Halo pedal was standard pedal size....?

Here is someone's version for the DD500.

"I have programmed a dual delay path similar to the Keeley Halo - 'halo default' preset on the DD-500. This is kind of a hybrid between the Halo and the TC Electronic Alter Ego V2 "EREC2" setting with the dual switch engaged. This has become my main delay patch on the DD-500.

[EDIT: Fixed errors]
The Expression pedal controls the Delay Level.
