Thanks for the confirmation. I really like that amp.
Does your Wife like it? I just sold mine. My Wife said the amp made me evil and the amp was evil. Go figure. :aww:

Ouch! Was it the volume? I find there is a small sweet spot that's not much louder than most other 100 watters at the same level, but usually those amps lack the punchy feel that I love about the Modern.

Nope. Wasn't in that night. Had a gig at The Empty Bottle. Lemme know if/when you wanna come back to the show. We get comps everyone in a while.
I'd love that, thanks. Do they switch up the show?

Kinda. None of the audience member moments are staged. They have no idea that it's gonna be them. We're doing an entire revamp of the show in January with some new technology and material. What I've seen looks great so far.

Well if you can come up with some tix I'm in. I'd like to hear you play. The guy's that were there the night we went were pretty tight. It cool to just see their glow in the dark war paint moving around. We had second row so I could get a pretty good look at them.

I don't know what it was. She just hated it. She said I am a different guy since it left. She hasn't heard the 100 watt Friedman JMP yet with 6550's. Doesn't have quite the punch of the MC but it does well and sounds very sweet. Dave does some great clean mods.

One thing I love about the Wizard is the organic sound, how is the Friedman, organic too??? Thanks.

The Friedman is very organic. I've played so many modded Marshalls from different people and they are cool, but seem to always lack the fundamental essence of a Marshall. Dave's mod has that essence in spades. It has plenty of gain at any volume, cleans up really well, but still retains the things that make it a Marshall. Yet, it is still somehow really unique sounding. I like to use "bark" and "kerrang" when describing amp tones that I like. This does both. I didn't get all of the switches on the back of mine. I only have the BE, C45, and simple clean and you really don't need anything else in my opinion. The simple clean is REALLY good and totally worth the extra $150 if you're having him make something for you. It's just a really ballsy, awesome sounding and feeling amp.[/quote]
That didnt help my gas, thanks. :D thanks for your answer.

You got great options on your amp. If you run an EQ through the loop on the Simple Clean it sounds really, really good. I've got mine running through a WOBO switcher, so when I switch to the clean my EQ comes on at the same time. Works great. Hey Mike, you need to check out my Friedman mod too.
