yea thats pretty lame on the pre-order....got the RUFFs from victor griffins ( pentagram, place of skulls) new record as well last night ... just killer..no vocals on it yet but the riffs are sick!

Currently learning Pulaski Skyway. Such a great band indeed.

I was in a record store yesterday looking for a new live dvd, when the music they played in the store got my attention. I had to ask the guy behind the counter what band they had on the speakers. It was the latest album by Clutch. The songs, sound and awesome attitude of their music impressed me a lot. Had to buy it.

Tim's using a jcm900 on earth rocker ..kinda nuts
Pretty sure his Orange and JTM are mixed in there as well. From the interview I remember reading, there were parts he wanted more saturation on and someone had him try the 900 so he used that on certain parts. I like most of their stuff, haven't picked this up yet but like the overall vibe from what I've heard so far. Seem to have brought a little more rock swagger back into the fold on this album.

I've never listened to Clutch before, but I absolutely love the new album. It's probably my favorite CD at the moment. I'm going to have to check out their old stuff.

They peaked with Blast Tyrant for me. They have their ups and downs but such an awesome band keeping real swingin' rock 'n' roll alive. Unfortunately the few songs from the new one I've checked out on YT are OK but honestly don't knock my socks off.

Gotta do a slight necro bump/ self quote and re-vise my thoughts on Earth Rocker. I don't know why but gave it another shot and was listening to clips on Amazon and just thought they sounded great and bought it and holy shit, it is killer. A truly fantastic, hard rock groovin' album. don't know why it didn't grab me before but I dig the hell out of it now. Consider my socks knocked off….

I have to say that their producer "Machine" did a great job with the album & sound

Getting down to the nitty gritty in the control room
Who needs a vocal booth.

Just saw them again a few weeks ago, one of my favorite bands
