I've had two really bad experiences with LTD's. To the point where I'll never touch them again. I still own my 2001 ESP custom shop 7 string I bought when I was 15 ( saved for a year and a half ) that thing is still a beast.

I’ve owned over a dozen LTD’s and have have amazing results. I own ESP USA and Custom Shop models as well and I still enjoy my LTD’s.

I have a 500 series of the Kami since 2010, and prior to that had the 500 series of the Sunburst Tiger. Also had a GL-600T for a brief time, but didn't quite bond with it. 200 series ain't too shabby, either, although I much prefer the GL-256.

I have an EC-400AT gold top that feels and sounds almost exactly like my 2010 LP Traditional. Only issue I have with it would the knob placement but that is only because I am so used to LP's.

Esp/ltd makes fantastic stuff at every price point.
I played an ltd V350 for many years as my main "beater" live guitar.
Eventually I'm going to go for a full custom one, but there's other stuff I gotta get first.

I've owned a Sparrowhawk and I've played dozens over the past couple years. I bought an EC1000T but sent it back due to it not being the newer models with Stainless frets. It was a killer guitar just didn't want the older model as Ss frets were a big reason why I ordered it.
I really dig LTD. The fact that the 1000 series now have stainless frets is even better. I would love a honeyburst ec1000t with evertune. Maybe one day they will have that config. They feel really comfortable

I have a Sparrowhawk. I like it but its not my favorite guitar by any means. I have it D / Drop C with 11-52s and it just feels a bit stiff when playing. I play 11s in Eb primarily so I don't think its the string gauge, perhaps I just need to spend more time setting it up. Anyway, its the only LTD I've ever had or played and my experience with it leaves me indifferent to the brand. Its not a bad guitar at all, but its not a great guitar either and therefore I cant say I have a desire to own another one...
