Anyone ever is Brown's Guitar Factory in Minnesota?

I have never been there but I travel to the twin cities pretty often for work. Did you get shafted? The owner has a soul patch that should have reassured you lol

FWIW, those are some of the ugliest electrics I've ever seen.

Brown's was the highest recommended shop in the Twin Cities when I lived there. I moved away a decade ago, but had them do some work on guitars that was above my comfort level. It was all top quality work and I recommended them to others. I wouldn't be concerned about the quality of Brown's work.

The only caveat is I moved away from there 10 years ago and it'd been a good 5 years before that since I had them do anything. It's always possible they've gone downhill since of course.

Well, I hope not. I paid a lot of money for Guitar from Music Go Round. The salesman informed me that there were some issues with the fret ends and they wanted to get it in 100% perfect condition. I said ok and asked who would be doing the work. He told me Brown's Guitars, and that they were the "best"

I'm just wondering if I should ask for my money back or just wait till I recieve the guitar? I paid top dollar and I'm just wondering why frets would be bad on a one year old Suhr guitar in "unplayed" condition

Got the guitar yesterday and it's flawlessly amazing! Killer looking and a perfect setup. Whew! What a relief

Great news. I'm glad it worked out for you. Which Music Go Round did you purchase your guitar through? There were two big ones that carried a lot of nice gear, and then there were several smaller ones around when I was there.

Also, pics.
