Anyone have clips of Einstein with 6550's?

Well the band rocked .... I watched them pull four 6550's out of the bass rig. I gave him four KT66 and four KT77. Along with two KT88. He has some EL34. So he well be busy checking them out with the 14 combination's. If I did the math right.

Make sure you bias the KT66 like you would a 6L6.
 
My drummer is going to Disneyland with his family for a week, so I brought my whole rig home, and am going to start in on all these tubes, and different combo's, tomorrow. It's all about football today! I'll report back with my findings as I go through them. I'm looking forward to this! My neighbor's... maybe not so much. :lol: :LOL:
 
Looking forward to hearing your review of the tubes in your rig ..... Maybe you should change the title or start a other thread, maybe in the main forum . I would think a lot of people would be interested in that.

The KT88 and the KT66 are well broken in. The KT77 may still be a little harsh still. They could smooth out well being played more. But they are all in matched sets.
