Anyone have the new EVHIII 4x12 cabinet yet?

EVH is leading people to believe that it's some sort of special speakers loaded in the Cab but rumor has it that they are loaded with heritage Greenbacks with the EVH logo on the back.

Interesting. So are those the expensive ones G12H ?

Sounds like it. Coming from an inexperienced greenback user, they sound DAMN good. But thats a lot of cash to lay down for a cab. Oh well, the search and education continues.

Not that anyone cares, but the front grill looks stapled directly to the baffle unlike some of the higher end cabs that have the grill attached to a separate frame

That's an old spec...all speakers aren't exactly 4, 8 or 16 Ohms. They are just rounded up.

A 3 Ohm speaker is called a 4 Ohm speaker...a 6 Ohm speaker is called an 8 Ohms speaker, etc...

Ha ha. I have no plans to abandon V30s. Love'em. I want another cab with GBs. Then another with G1265s. More more more!!!
