Ok, I just got off the phone with Gerard Doyle, the owner of Doyle Audio. The ampfest is confirmed, and here are the details.

It's on Sunday February 17, and starts at noon.

This is their "Light of DAE" studio that it will be held in. It's a studio that Doyle Audio makes available to youth for free, a really cool thing in my opinion. Information about the studio is here:

Gerard is looking forward to hosting the ampfest, whether it's for 5 people or 25 people (or how many people happen to show up). He may be able to do some recording of the event, although whether he can or how much recording is up in the air at the moment (we'll play it by ear). Either way it should be fun to get to try/hear a bunch of different amplifiers and for us to meet one another.

You can feel free to contact Gerard using his contact info above, or post here, about whatever you need to. But the ampfest is in fact a go. You will see me there, since my flight was booked several weeks ago. :) I'll be bringing a Chimera, a Gryphon, and a Polaris. I hope to see a lot of you there.
 
Gerard has emailed a number of people including me about the ampfest. Since he's not a member here I'll paste the email:

A number of Amp and Speaker enthusiasts, also know as Gear Heads, have asked us to host a gathering of friends for Equipment amplifiers and speaker listening and testing. So we said Yes.

Frankly this sounds like a lot of fun. Everyone brings the toys they think is worth hearing. This is a great opportunity for people to hear amps and speakers they not otherwise get to hear.
James Peters http://www.petersamplification.com/ is coming in with his amps from out west.
We will of coarse have Doyle speakers with about 8 or 10 different speaker models you can hear.
We also have a few Line 6 heads, such as the HD147 that's rare. We will also have the line 6 pro guitar and bass foot pedals.

And Coffee....lots of Coffee.
