Anyone own a Les Paul Replica?

A client came over with his LP replica on Friday with his BrandonWound pickups. He played my Keebler darkburst replica with the JWP pickups...he's ditching his BW set for the Darkburst/Godwood combo now.
The Wagner pickups were my absolute favorites for a while. I’ve owned tons of them, but have sold all of them and now only use Tone Specific’s and real deal vintage stuff. Everything else I’ve been through (and I’ve been deep in this rabbit hole) has been rendered obsolete and long gone. Wagner’s are still imo the best pickups for the price, but Tone Specific is on another level. Way more clarity, detail and a much more complex, rich tone like a good PAF should be. I’ve AB’ed his pickups in my guitars with my friends late ‘50’s Les Paul (which is a great one) and they were scary similar sounding. As good as Wagner’s are, they didn’t hold up even half as well in those comparisons (probably less than half as good to be perfectly honest), but to be fair he has some particularly great sounding examples of those vintage Gibson’s that it was going up against

Virgil Arlo was probably the 2nd best I’ve tried for pickups made today, but liked Tone Specific more and also sold of my Arlo’s a while ago

Partially correct.
The Derrig was a Gibson LP replica.
However Gibson now makes a Slash sig of the Derrig which would make it a replica of a replica.
And his 2nd Derrig could be considered a replica of a replica of a replica i guess.
Saul could have avoided all that and just bought a Gibson to begin with.
He did have a Gibson but sold it supposedly to support his drug habit before the recording of AFD
