i have the Rosington maroon cab with V30s. I think it was the same cab as the Pentas. bought it for $100 at a thrift store years ago. great cab.
It’s no Naylor.I got mine for $400 new around 15 years ago. I have 2 of the Penta 4x12's in storage. They're both loaded with Celestion 75's. I got those from GC for $200 each in excellent condition. It's a good amp. Sounds great boosted. Beyond Black likes to hate on it! View attachment 378377

Was just about to post the same thing, glad I read the thread lol. Yep another Lynch offshoot from Peavey that he never got his name on.It was designed as a George Lynch model, and despite his classic gear-whoring most of the stuff he (almost) put his name on is pretty good. The Penta is no exception, it´s a good amp. The second mode rotary probably was a mistake, leading people to think it was a two-channel amp. It is much more viable as a single-channel. Haven´t played one in fifteen years, though!
