Yeah, I think instead of being hasty, I'm gonna just wait. Try out the Digitech Hardwire. If I don't like it, get a used DD20, compare side by side, then decide what I'll do...

In the end, PROBABLY sell both and get a timefactor. hahaha.

lets place a friendly bet.. i bet he keeps the dd-20 hehe

Whats your definition of "keeps"? 6 months? 1 year?

i just want you to post your 1000th post.

I agree with Matt, Nick. Let your ears decide. I have never had a problem running my delays through the serial loop. Actually I like it better. I use different programs so some are heavy delay, some real light in the background.

I burned up 2 9volts in the hardwire today, damn that thing sucks   batteries that is.Cool delay in the Mods series loop, for the price.

well, the parallell loop on the mod 50 really works like a mixer. no tone change as far as i can hear ... with a timefactor that is ;)

as long as your delay pedal doesn't give you a level problem, or can't be set to true killdry, then use whatever sounds nice in the parallell loop.

i really like the dd-20 as well, and all of the old boss delays. but engaging the parallell loop on the mod50 is just so convenient. just adding effects. not changing tone.
