Has money lending been happening throughout history? Yes.

The point being that history is replete with the very small Ruling Classes of large societies funneling the
majorities of wealth to themselves in one form or another.

What's any different than the same thing happening in the US ever since the Founding Fathers made sure to
author a constitution that guaranteed the foxes would forever be the guardians of the hens?

Please explain how the constitution does that. It’d be helpful if you could be specific and site from the constitution verbatim in your example.

Article I, Section 1:

All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and a House of Representatives.”

Keep going. That doesn’t prove your earlier statement correct.

So the new congress authored a set of rules for governing the masses.
First thing they did was to give the new congress full power over the rules of the constitution.

Congress manages itself. Decides its own salaries, time off, punishments, committee assignments, etc.

Richest person in the country wants the rules changed to benefit them? They buy a few congressmen.

More than 70% of Americans have wanted term limits changed for members of congress for decades.
If never gets done because congress votes against mandating term limits for themselves.

Ok, that makes sense, and I can get behind an idea like term limits for Congress. On the other hand, I think it’s a stretch and a pretty slanderous accusation to accuse the Founding Fathers of nefarious intentions. If they would’ve intended for the “foxes to rule the hens” as you claim, why did they put so many checks and balances in place in order to curb the power of the government? If they wanted an all powerful government to hoard power over its citizens, why in the world would they include an amendment such as the right to bear arms, which is solely there as a deterrent and bulwark against government tyranny? The Founding Fathers intended for a small federal government with the primary power residing in the states to determine their “destiny.” That concept of a small federal government was defeated at the Civil War and a large overreaching federal government began to rise. But we don’t want to talk about that. The Civil War was fought over slavery, not state’s rights to govern themselves. The good and noble northerners defeated the evil and wicked southerners. The Founding Fathers would be appalled at the power the federal government holds today.

The irony of you knowing all this and then making fun of "conspiracies" isn't lost on me.

See, thing is is that if most everyone agrees on something as being true, it's not a conspiracy.

I never implied they did it nefariously. They did it in broad daylight with huge public approval.

And who is the final say over all of those checks and balances to keep the government in line? Congress.
Who determines if the leader of the country is a crook? Congress. Same goes for a senator.
Sure, they allow guns, but who has the biggest and the most? The military. Who governs the military?

What I wish we had for congress is something like what electronics manufacturers have with UL.
100% independent agency with no agenda other than to cover all bases in regard to user safety.
They can't be bought or influenced. Black or white. Pass or fail. ZERO leeway.

And for the life of that product UL has authority to do surprise audits of your factory to insure you
are still using the correct materials and construction methods, testing, etc.

Imagine if GE, Samsung, Apple, etc. were their own safety agencies.
Or amp makers!!!

Imagine if the slimy politicians set their own rules and consequences? Oh, wait......

Man, you really sound like a small government Republican. 😁

I hear you on several points here, but we elect those Congress members. Don’t we? We have the power to vote them out. Whether or not a voting block WANTS them out is another story. That’s why we have career politicians. Their base keeps on voting for them. But still, we have the power to vote them out.

Which is why both you and me wish there was term limits!

Saw the movie election again recently.
The actual "election" parts of it are a brilliant satire on the real world of politics
and how popularity is often the factor rather than policy.

Now this is what I’m talking about. Both sides arguing (not fighting) points in a respectful and concise way. I totally agree with you on term limits. I like that movie, too. 👍🏻

Pricing on new and used automobiles is crazy right now. I went to check-out what's available in the 2021 Dodge Challenger Scat Pack, but there's not much to choose from.

My local Dodge dealiship has no new vehicles on the lot to sell. They are taking special orders from cash paying customers then tracking the vehicles down. Alot are shipping only with basic functinall ECM's with no frilly options. Chrysler is telling them maybe late August/Septmeber before they might start shipping fully optioned vehicles.

I was having my rear axle rebuilt in my old farm truck 2500 there and I asked them what was up with no new vehicles on the lot, the head salesmen/manager and service guy who I am friends with and the above story was what they told me.

Some people are getting offers of $4k over what they paid new. Resellers like Carvana and CARMAX are buying-up what they can. I've considered doing the same, but there's no-way I'm purchasing a used Scat Pack. Many new HEMI owners beat the shit out of them. No regard for proper break-in procedures. Also, the recent flooding in Detroit (Chrysler lot) resulted in hundreds of MOPAR units underwater. You just know they're going to refurbish and resell those vehicles. I could be wrong, but I don't think so. Even if I wait for 2022, there's no guarantee that I won't receive a flood vehicle body from 2021. Hopefully, Stellantis will do what they should do... Crush them!

So how much are the dealerships losing with no vehicles to sell while paying interest on inventory they don't have in hand? They also told me the dealers start paying interest once a vehicle slated for the dealership is built not when they take delivery of it. Unless I misunderstood what the sales manager said it seemed pretty clear when he told me that.

I would imagine there is a contractual provision for this. Why would dealerships place orders for vehicles that aren't available? As far as the chips go, they can build me one without all the extras. If they want to build me a cable throttle HEMI, I'm in!

LOL! I never liked that drive by wire shit anyway, give me an actual throttle cable..................................................................................................................

I am one of the last of the mechanics that can rebuild a carburetor, the kids today just plug into the ECM with a OBD scanner

Not everything is a conspiracy. Why do you criticize critical thinking or ideas that differ from yours? You seem very close minded and satisfied with what the main stream media feeds you. 🤷

For me that video touches on some interesting views that provide evidence without certainty. I certainly believe our govt is creating problems and just printing money and throwing it the problems to create a solution instead of preventing issues. Inflation is 8% right now.
Because that's what libs do. Right out of the Marxist playbook.
